  10.        This chapter lists information that is supplemental to the
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e and the
  12.        installation instructions in the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m
  13.        _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e.  The information listed here is
  14.        product-specific; use it with either of those Guides to
  15.        install ViewKit.

  17.        2.1  _V_i_e_w_K_i_t__E_o_e__S_u_b_s_y_s_t_e_m_s

  19.        The ViewKit execution only environment includes these
  20.        subsystems:

  31.        2.2  _V_i_e_w_K_i_t__S_u_b_s_y_s_t_e_m__D_i_s_k__S_p_a_c_e__R_e_q_u_i_r_e_m_e_n_t_s

  33.        This section lists the subsystems (and their sizes) of the
  34.        ViewKit Execution Environment option.
  35.  
  36.        You can use the software installation instructions in the
  37.        _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_i_o_n _G_u_i_d_e to install this
  38.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  39.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  40.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  41.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  42.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to launch
  43.        the installation.

  45.        Note:  The listed subsystem sizes are approximate. Refer to

  75.        includes some widgets.  The contents of this library are
  76.        used by most ViewKit applications.

  78.        lllliiiibbbbvvvvkkkkSSSSGGGGIIII:  The SGI-specific ViewKit class library.  This
  79.        library includes thing that would have gone into _l_i_b_V_k,
  80.        except that they are SGI-specific.

  83.        interface to a standard SGI help system (not yet available).

  86.        based on the ToolTalk library.

  88.        lllliiiibbbbXXXXppppmmmm:  A library that supports X pixmap creation.  This is
  89.        a freely available library, Copyright 1989-95 GROUPE BULL.
  90.        Some ViewKit classes use libXpm.  This library is Xpm
  91.        version 3.4.

  93.        2.4  _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n__M_e_t_h_o_d

  95.        All of the subsystems for ViewKit_eoe can be installed using
  96.        IRIX.  You do not need to use the miniroot. Refer to the
  97.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e or the
